Looking to make your website more accessible? Join the All-Access Digital Accessibility Initiative for a two-part workshop held Wednesday, October 30, 2 - 3 p.m. and Thursday, November 14, 1 - 2 p.m. The workshop will cover the basics of digital accessibility and how to use SiteImprove, a tool underwritten by UC, to identify issues and monitor your progress.

A Bit of History 

2023 was the 50th anniversary of the 1973 Rehabilitation Act, which required affirmative action in employment by the federal government and by government contractors, and prohibited discrimination on the basis of disability in programs conducted by federal agencies, in programs receiving federal financial assistance, in federal employment, and in the employment practices of federal contractors.
